it often occupies a significant amount of time regarding priorities rather than problem-solving. I believe it might relate to the same concept of organizations’ resistance to change and individual complacency because politics works well for some people. Politics gives people the lives they want in terms of the power they need to get acceptance to do anything they want, even if their actions are extremely destructive. Because politics is at the wrong resolution and scale, it works as a destructive force as it takes it from the individual level and makes a cult out of it to maximize violence. Politics at the individual level never becomes violence because no one knows or should know the totality of another person’s politics. Instead, they should know the person as an integrated whole and not look at individual pieces of politics, which are often used to hurt someone rather than include them. Those who start political wars find politics appealing because all they need to do is pry into an individual’s personal beliefs or manufactured perceptions of their beliefs. We must go back to leaving a person’s politics at the proper resolution in their minds and let the whole person integrate their beliefs in a way that best strives to solve problems instead of creating violence and war. We must get back to knowing people and respecting their ideas even if we disagree. Although some extreme political functioning might like the power behind some extreme viewpoints. The prioritization of more rationality in terms of holistic advice so people can learn is the best alternative; otherwise, people’s politics will take on whatever way they interpret their education, usually in an out-of-context way. Only those who learn that learning is more than education out of context. It is about all of the integrated contexts. Otherwise, narrow-minded politics from educated people who never knew how to learn and adapt in a holistic problem-solving context will continue their destructive endeavors. I wonder if the difference goes back to the motivations in the first place, as some are motivated to learn, and some are motivated to get educated to get rich or powerful or be a hero instead of contributing to the genuine holistic problem-solving effort. Others want to learn to help in some way. Focusing on politics instead of real holistic problem-solving is ignorance, as it does not make the world a better place but performs itinerant functioning to win only at any cost. Politics works for those incapable of solving problems in any real way as they are more interested in their complacency and often dysfunctional organizations that resist change. These compulsions only contribute to static elitism and political power alliances instead of more rational integrated problem-solving. The old politics is like profit, power, drugs, sex, and rock and roll. Genuine holistic politics is respect for individuals as each of us is cohesively similar, and the best part is that we are all diverse and different as this is a learning opportunity, not a divisive violence-creating concept. Genuine holistic politics is about personal contributions in context with our broader nature regarding cohesive collaboration, problem-solving, and connectedness to all of humanity and nature. We should no longer focus on personal politics as a priority as it serves no useful purpose. We must get to know people for who they are as people, celebrate their similarities and differences, work together with our similarities, and learn from our differences. It is one of the greatest concepts that we are all unique in our similarities and our diversity because if we were just all the same or if we were just all different, we would not have anything to talk about. It is also like checks and balances and continual learning and continuous improvement. The old politics is itinerant and destructive. Genuine holistic, adaptive ecogeorelative politics build harmony, peace, and cohesive collaboration at the end of any rational decision-making process. It creates lovers, not fighters. What about you? I am a lover, not a fighter. We must transform profit, power, drugs, sex, and rock and roll lyrics into creating value, energy, benefits, creativity, holistic learning and advice, comfort, joy, love, peace, hope, and enlightened symphonies of all types. At the same time, we strive to find sustainable striving happiness on Earth. Again, politics should only represent a small fraction of the time at the end of a holistically rational decision-making process (for gut feel) UVM-SENR 1998. For too long, it has been first and last.

Politics should come after ecogeorelative, impact assessment, and ecogeorational decision-making. It should be a gut-feeling indicator. Maybe politics has been functioning at the wrong spatial resolution, so it has failed miserably (should we include everyone?). Politics has become more about fighting and never-ending controversy as we support the means rather than any sustainable striving end. …
