Earth Research Explorers identified nature as worthy of everyone exploring, as well as humanity and spirituality with God. Interestingly, in the year 396-430ad or so, Saint Augustine professed that we should question the beauty of the air, the beauty of the sea, the beauty of the sky, and the beauty of the earth. I think God wants us to explore the world because the more you understand the beauty of the world, the more you will understand God. Augustine further says that Nature is constantly changing, which means it adapts to us as humans. This also validates the need to research and explore our planet. Consequently, it makes sense that exploration of the earth and nature Leads us closer to God. Maybe we can learn more about God by exploring nature and learning about God from the Bible. I learned about Saint Augustine from the Catholic catechism. (as read by Father Mike Schmitz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRpDxjB9K9U). Saint Augustine supports Earth Research Explorers and the Unidiversity Research Explorers Cycle. My early revelation about God in nature was when I learned about serotinous cones within fire-prone ecosystems in the western United States. It was hard for me to believe that evolution could have created serotinous cones so seeds could be dispersed and opened on the landscape only when fire was present. God also wants us to be stewards and stakeholders of Earth and nature. Learning about nature helps us to become holistic, well-motivated, and positive energy people. If we create digital monuments all over planet Earth, we can have a university on Earth to explore. Likewise, it will enable everyone on earth to go to college or university throughout their lives. This idea reminds me that it is like going on vacation and learning everything you can learn while getting credit. One could tailor one’s interests according to one’s desires and life’s purpose. They could focus more on nature, humanity, and spirituality with God’s approach to living on Earth. Having digital coordinates as monuments on planet Earth allows us to explore them at our own pace. This idea also allows everyone to go to school or university throughout their lifetime, starting when they are children. While living, learning, exploring, and investing on planet Earth, we can also get things done while we are there. It is similar to missions and the need to tend to our forests, lakes, rivers, humanity, and spirituality. Tending to the needs of our world, missions, and explorations can be accomplished from local to global. It is also like filling up a digital diary throughout your lifetime to have memories to last your and your descendant’s lifetimes. That would be a great way to monitor change as multiple generations get involved. Each generation could hypothesize changes that occur from generation to generation. Hence, we will be able to question the beauty of the Earth and tend to the cumulative totality of our needs while experiencing joy.
